Hike to Bridal Veil
We have been enjoying our spring afternoons very much. Today I came home from work and then ran some errands with Chip. Just as we were headed to the gym, Chip had a bright idea. With beautiful weather like this, (in the high 70's, cause for celebration!!) why not take exercise outdoors?! So he proposed that we take an afternoon hike up to Bridal Veil Waterfall in Provo Canyon. I have to admit that I am the typical girly-girl wuss that is reluctant to do outdoor stuff like this. But I was definitely enjoying this hike! It is beautiful up there. The view atop is gorgeous and the actual site of the waterfall is beautiful. What a wonderful world we live in. What is also remarkable to me is to know how much influence someone you love and admire can have on your life. I love that my husband encourages me to be a better person by learning to take on new experiences and to put aside my fears. I never thought I would enjoy hiking or rock climbing, etc, but he definitely brings out the best that I have in me and pushes me to be aware of my potential. He is so amazing.
Isn't he cute?

Grateful
You might be wondering where this all came from. Well, i have a simple answer: music. There is just something about what a melody does to me. I really do feel that my deepest appreciation for Heavenly Father and for the life he has allowed me to have are inspired through music. I hope you will take the time to find at least a couple of songs that will mean this much to you.
Spring Break!
OK, so I stole these pics from my sis-in-law's blog. She is so cute, I love her! She really is like another of my sisters. These were taken during our spring break in Phoenix, which was SO much fun. We got to go to a White Socks game, wakeboarding on Dad's boat (family tradition), spend time with the Price clan and with my family! We went to the Easter pageant together (last time we went I was probably about 8 or 9, and I must say that I was very pleased to see that there were NO protestors! It is really sad (and annoying) to see how these people waste their time standing around the temple with their false signs. Anyway, I will put some pictures of the pageant up as well.
Hubby Trivia :)
Who is smarter? Well, I believe Chippy is BRILLIANT. Im always amazed at how much knowledge he has about so many things in all different areas. I also love the way he can elaborate on these subjects, he always sounds like an expert on it.
Who does the laundry? This one is entirely my decision. I'm really picky about laundry, so in order to avoid being miffed about laundry, I do it myself :)
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do. I have this weird fobia with the side that is closer to the door. I feel like it is the "unsafer" side of the bed, and therefore Chip gets that side.
Who mows the lawn? Chipster, OF COURSE! Do you really see ME mowing the lawn?? I don't think so.
Who cooks dinner? Again, Chippy. He is an awesome husband AND cook. I come home at 7, so he usually has dinner ready by the time im home.
Who drives? I consider myself to be a dang good driver (for a girl--as Chip puts it) but my driving still makes him nervous, so when we are together he drives.
Who is more stubborn? He is...and he will agree....I think.
Who kissed who first? I kissed him. I had to! It was on our second date, I was up visiting in Utah and leaving back to Texas the following day. Chip was being a total chicken and I knew that if I wanted a chance for this to work, I had to kiss him! SO i did.
Who proposed? First of all, I would NEVER be the one to propose. That is strictly a man's job. Chip proposed at the top of the JSB in Temple Square. It was the most romantic experience ever.
Summer is here!
