Snow-Swimming

Of course, the one screaming like a girl is Chip :O)

Happy Valentine's!

Valentine's day started out by having breakfast at home. I made crepes for the first time and we loved them! I love making and having breakfast together yet we rarely get to do it. Then we were off to our day at the Zermatt resort in Midway. It is always so nice to get to do some fun stuff with the cousins.
We hung out at the villa and chated, and then headed to the pool.I love how the boys morph back into 10 year-olds when they are together. They decided that they would get in the pool and then jump out into the snow and roll around, then get back into the pool. It was hilarious! I think the other guests didn't mind the free entertainment at all! (See video above) Afterwards we had yummy pizzas for dinner, then the guys went home and the girls had a sleepover. It was so much fun! I really feel lucky to be in this awesome family. Thanks Shad and Cory for a fun Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Eve

This year we are getting to celebrate Valentine's Day twice! Today, the actual "day" we are going up to a resort in Midway, UT to spend the day with the cousins. Anyway, last night we went to PF Changs with our friends Aaron and Naida and although we had to wait 2 hours and a half (no kidding!) to be seated, the food is always worth it. We had a great time. I love you Chippy, you are the best valentine ever!

Half-Way There!!

21 weeks and counting!! :o)

A Little Bit of Karma...

Last Sunday at church, Chip shared his testimony and mentioned how much his life would change in less than 5 months. He then went on to share a story about how when he was younger, the terrible 4 (he and his brothers) destroyed their dad's vegetable garden. My mother-in-law was so mad that she told Chip, "Someday you will have children of your own who will be worse behaved than you are and karma will have its revenge." Chip concluded by saying that maybe having girls would be a good thing and that he was very happy to welcome some karma into his life. Isn't he sweet?
So, as karma would have it..IT'S A GIRL!!! I am so excited, thrilled is a better word, to have this little person. I have to say that I am blown away with technology. It is unbelieveable to be able to see very clearly how she is developing in the womb. She was moving her little arms all around and eventually her thumb would make its way to her mouth when we would give her a break (she is really curled up with her face facing my spine, so the nurse had to "move" her around a bit).
We are both very happy and excited and can't wait to have her here with us :)
